Lash Line Tattoo Enhancement, or invisible eyeliner, involves tattooing an ultra-thin black or brown line along the top lash line to create the illusion of fuller, darker, and thicker lashes. The result is a natural, youthful, eye-opening effect. Lash line enhancement provides a smudge-proof, soft black or brown line that last 2-4 years, which makes this service even more exciting!

Lash Line Enhancement

Lash Enhancement is not the same as a traditional eyeliner tattoo. We do not apply color on your eyelid or add a wing. The ink goes only in between your lashes which makes the result soft and undetectable.

You can choose your color color intensity! We offer shades of brown or black. We also taper each end to seamlessly blend with your eye shape and lashes.

  • Cannot be pregnant/breastfeeding.

  • Must be off Accutane for at least 1 year.

  • Clients who are autoimmune, diabetic, have HIV/hepatitis must have a doctors note/medical clearance in order to proceed.

  • Cannot have cancer/be undergoing chemotherapy.

  • Allergies to metal/ink should avoid PMU.

  • Clients should avoid PMU if you have eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea around the treatment area.

  • Clients with shingles or hemophilia cannot get PMU.

  • Cannot be taking blood thinners. You must be off of blood thinners for 2-3 weeks.

  • If you have undergone laser eye surgery, you must wait 2-3 months before PMU.

  • Botox/Fillers must wait 1-2 months.

  • Please stay home if you have a cold/flu/pink eye.

  • If using retinol/tretinoin, you must stop using 2-4 weeks before your procedure.

Eligibility

Pre-care Instructions

  • Do not wear any contacts on the day of your procedure. Instead, bring eyeglasses.

  • Avoid alcohol, Vitamin E, and Aspirin (any blood thinners) for 48 hours before your procedure.

  • Avoid caffeine 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Do not wear any eye makeup to the procedure.

  • If you wear eyelash extensions, they have to be removed in order to receive the service.

  • You must be off of Retin-A and Renova.

  • If you have had a previous eyeliner/lash line tattoo, you need to send us a photo prior to booking.

  • If you have had any type of eye surgery, including Cataract, Lasik, blepharoplasty, you must wait 6 months before the procedure.

  • Stop using lash serums (especially Latisse) 2 weeks prior to your procedure.Do not drink alcohol at least 48 hours before your procedure. Avoid caffeine 24 hours before your procedure.


Post-care Instructions

  • Lash line enhancement heals quickly and requires very minimal aftercare.

  • Your eyes might be slightly puffy and red after your procedure. This is a normal reaction of the skin and the swelling will reduce after a few hours. If you have sensitive eyes, the swelling may last 1-3 days. A clean, cold compress can be applied to ease any swelling or discomfort.

  • Gently wash your eyes with room-temp water and pat dry gently before bedtime. Repeat the same thing the next morning. Do not wash when they are peeling. Once the peeling has finished, wash normally.

  • Avoid wearing makeup in the eye area for at least 10-14 days or until scabs are gone.

  • Avoid submerging and soaking your eyes in water.

  • Avoid saunas, sun exposure, steam rooms, steamy showers, swimming, etc.

  • Do not use creams or moisturizers on the treatment area. There is no ointment necessary for this treatment.

  • If the treated area feels tight or dry, use a clean cotton swab to apply a small amount of healing ointment around the eyes but not on the lash line.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We use topical numbing before tattooing and secondary numbing during your procedure to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. If you don’t feel comfortable with the thought of someone touching your eyes or know it is a sensitive area for you, this might not be the right procedure for you. We do our best to make this procedure pain-free.

  • A lash line enhancement requires both an initial session as well as a touch up appointment 4 - 8 weeks later in order to achieve maximum pigment implantation. The pigment will fade out gradually.

    Depending on your skin type and lifestyle, a 1-2 year touch up is recommended for a refreshed color look. You can enjoy your lash enhancement for 2 - 4 years.

  • The eyes heal very quickly with minimal aftercare necessary. The day of the treatment you may experience slight swelling or redness in the treatment area, but it usually doesn't last more than 2 days. Eye makeup is not allowed during the healing process (which may take about 10-14 days). No ointment is needed.

  • Yes, you may choose a black or brown color and we you can decide how intense you’d like the color.
